Microbalding removal

Microblading, microshading and nanobrow is a popular semi-permanent cosmetic procedure designed to enhance the appearance of the eyebrows. While beautiful results are possible, microblading is not intended to look the same forever. Over time, pigments naturally fade, change in tone, and lose their original definition. Whether you're unhappy with your current brows, looking to correct previous work, or preparing for a new brow treatment, laser microblading removal offers a safe and effective solution.

Why Microblading Removal Is Sometimes Needed

As microblading ages, both the skin and the implanted pigment change. Even when performed by an experienced artist, the pigment can gradually:

  • Fade unevenly

  • Shift to grey, blue, red, or orange tones

  • Lose its crisp, hair-like appearance

  • Become blurry or less defined

  • No longer complement your facial features or personal style

Many clients choose removal because brow trends, facial features, and personal preferences evolve over time. Others simply want a fresh start before having their eyebrows redone using newer techniques.

Preparing for New Eyebrows

Applying new pigment over old microblading does not always produce the best results. Existing pigment can influence the final colour and make it difficult to create natural-looking brows.

Laser removal can fade unwanted pigment, giving your brow artist a cleaner canvas to create symmetrical, balanced, and beautifully defined eyebrows. Whether you're planning new microblading, powder brows, nano brows, or another permanent makeup procedure, removing old pigment first often leads to a superior outcome.

How Laser Microblading Removal Works

We use advanced medical-grade laser technology to target the pigment beneath the skin. The laser delivers precise pulses of light energy that break the pigment into tiny particles. Over the following weeks, your body's natural immune system gradually removes these particles, causing the brows to lighten with each treatment.

Because pigment colours, depth, and skin types vary, multiple sessions may be recommended to achieve your desired level of fading or complete removal.

What to Expect During Treatment

Every client begins with a personalized consultation to assess the condition of the brows, pigment colour, skin type, previous treatments, and treatment goals.

During your appointment:

  • The eyebrow area is cleansed and prepared.

  • Protective eyewear is provided.

  • The laser is applied using short, controlled pulses.

  • Most treatments are completed in approximately 2 minutes.

Many clients describe the sensation as similar to the snap of a small elastic band. Comfort measures may be used throughout the procedure.

Recovery and Aftercare

Following treatment, it is normal to experience mild redness, swelling, or tenderness around the eyebrows. These effects are temporary and typically resolve within a few days.

Is Laser Microblading Removal Safe?

When performed by trained professionals using appropriate medical-grade laser technology, laser microblading removal is considered a safe and effective treatment for most suitable candidates. Every client receives an individual assessment to determine the safest and most effective treatment plan.
